RaceRPM.com Starts Live Web Casts Memorial Day Weekend  |

May 22, 2005 | By: Jeff Werderman

[Cedar Falls, IA] - - RaceRPM.com kicks off their new "Live Web Cast" feature this Memorial Day Weekend. "Those Live Update Guys" will debut the Live Web Cast featuring with three races in two days.

On Saturday, May 28, 2005, Bucky Doren and Chris Marchese will travel to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, MN) for a night with the O'Reilly United States Modified Touring Series. Racing action is slated to start at 6:00pm, and the live web cast will begin at 8:00pm. Race fans that tune in Saturday night will also have a chance to win tickets to see a weekly race at Deer Creek Speedway.

The next night (Sunday, May 29, 2005) will see the crew head to Dubuque Speedway (Dubuque, IA) for the Open Late Model Shootout presented by Simmons Promotions, Inc. The late models will be racing for a $6,000 top prize. PLUS! Chris Nunn is scheduled to have updates throughout the night from the David Richardson Memorial at Vemilion County Speedway (Danville, IL). This is a $5000 to win UMP Modified special.

"This is something we've been working on for a couple of months," explained Bucky Doren. "Nothing will really ever replace being at the track, but for those who can't make it, they can log on to RaceRPM.com."

"What I think is cool, is the ability to be in multiple locations." added Chris Marchese. "This Sunday we will be in Dubuque (IA), and Chris Nunn will be in Danville (IL) on the same night. Race fans that log in will be able to find out what is going on at both tracks.

"There will be some tracks we go to that we will not be able to web cast," Doren went on to say. "We think we can web cast at tracks that most won't be able to. It will depend on the facilities, but we will move a majority of our coverage to web casts that will be achieved."

RaceRPM.com is working on securing dates, and their current schedule is available at www.RaceRPM.com/Live. The Yankee Dirt Track Classic (Farley Speedway) and the Featherlite Fall Jamboree (Deer Creek Speedway) have already been added to their live web cast schedule. They are working on a few other marquee events for the 2005 season.
