Indiana Dirt Late Model Speedweek Updates at RaceRPM.com
May 10, 2005

By: Bucky Doren

[Cedar Falls, IA] - - When the Green flag falls on the 2005 edition of the Indiana Dirt Late Model Speedweek, RaceRPM.com/Live will have trackside updates. RaceRPM.com's Chris Nunn will have limited updates throughout the night from each night of racing. RaceRPM.com/Live, it doesn't replace being there, but it's the next best thing.

On Wednesday, May 11, 2005, Twin Cities Raceway Park (New Vernon, IN) will host the opening night of this year's Indiana Dirt Late Model Speedweek. The tour travels to Lawrenceburg Speedway (Lawrenceburg, IN) on Thursday night. Friday night's racing action will take place on the dirt at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, IN). Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, IN) on Saturday night will wrap up this year's action.

"$15 for the grandstands is a great price," commented Nunn who will provide the updates each night for RaceRPM.com. "That's a great value to see the likes of Don O'Neal, Brian Shirley, Kevin Weaver, and the 2004 Speedweek champion Dennis Erb. They're all expected to compete."

"For those who can't join RaceRPM.com for each night of racing, Chris (Nunn) will have trackside updates," added Bucky Doren who owns/runs RaceRPM.com. "On Saturday night, we'll probably only have a post-race wrap-up. Chris is handling the entire night announcing at Brownstown, and he will be pretty busy covering all the racing action for all classes that night."

The purse for each night of racing should attract some great dirt late model drivers from Indiana and beyond. The winner will take home $2,500, and each driver who starts each night's A-Main is set to receive $300.

"With over $12,000 in purse each night, this should be some great racing," Nunn said. "Throw in $2,000 for the champion from UMP and Hoosier Tires; this should be four fun nights of racing."

Race fans that are not able to attend the racing action will be able to follow along with trackside updates after the heat races, B-Main's, and then after the A-Main. Chris Nunn will also work on tracking down post-race interviews. Log on to www.RaceRPM.com/Live to download .MP3 audio files.
