The Media Relations Director for the NCRA Randy Fisher joined RaceRPM.com for chat about the past 4th of July weekend for the Late Models and the Modifieds. Kelly Boen grabbed two wins with the late models. The modified points leader Chad Wheeler lost the points lead to Brian Franz, and then he retook the points lead on the very next night.

Rob Toland started on the front row, and he made it look easy as he would take the IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series Late Model win at Independence Motor Speedway on July 6, 2005. Toland took the lead off of the drop of the green flag, and he was never really challenged for the win. Drivers interviewed includes Rob Toland (winner), Terry Neal (2nd place), and Curt Martin (3rd place).
